A sigh of relief pushed between Vincent's lips as the student came to, not that he was even aware he had been holding his breath. He let the doctor attend to the girl and explain what had happened; however, when she looked towards his direction, that feeling dropped entirely, and he fought to keep an embarrassed grimace to appear on his face. Instead, he smiled, or at least tried to, though she had looked away beforehand.
Well, the situation was under control. Best to leave now.
Since the attention was focused on the student anyway, the gardener began silently shuffling around them in hopes to sneak away unnoticed. He wasn't needed as far as he could see, though, he paused when the girl attempted to get to her feet. It was obvious she hadn't entirely recovered, only regained consciousness, though, he was sure that her date--at least he assumed this Edward character was her date--would get her back to the dorms safely.
Or at least he thought so until the student and doctor began exchanging snide remarks. Vincent glanced over to Ellyllon, feeling a bit sorry for her, but he really didn't want to get involved. Besides, there was still Vivian. She could get her back safely.
"Ah, good to see you're all right, Miss," Vincent said as he made a direct shift around them. "It...appears everything is under control." Another sidelong stride. "I'll, ah...get going now."
He did his best not to purely flee, though he exited rather stiffly and quickly from the balcony.

Edward's eyes shone in amusement. The Doctor wasn't taking things lightly, no, he supposed Ludvig wasn't the type. This was a clear challenge. "I'm sorry, Mr. Ludvig, if your clearly wonderful training tells you that I am some sort of threat with all these muscles I clearly possess, and my astounding intellect and chemistry training that I must have, as you are omnipotent and must be aware of that, so I will stay away from Ellyllon." Edward rolled his eyes. "I suppose I forgot to mention I have a PhD in date rape drugs." He snorted.
"Don't look at me like that. Everyone is aware that that stupid bitch tried to kill herself in this ground floor veranda. The freaking Assitant Headmistress announced it to the world. What could I possibly have to do with that?! Well, other than driving her to suicide. You can blame me for that, I guess." Edward shrugged. "And Snape knows about both incidents as well. He is clearly as suspicious as I am as he was with Ellyllon before I got there!" Edward stomped his foot angrily before turning to the fleeing Snape. "Not that I think anyone is actually responsible for this, Mister Snape, I am just stating facts." Edward called to the retreating figure. He then turned casually back to Ludvig.
"I was with Ellyllon the entire night. Rowan and Levi can both attest to that." He held up one finger. "Therefore, I can't have been around Mrs. Suicide over there. I suppose you can argue that I had something to do with it," he paused, "Except that I have no knowledge of chemistry. Please refer to my sixty two percent in our chemistry course." He frowned. "And that was only due to mixing vials of prettily coloured liquids."
"So Mister Ludvig," he paused, "how do I know that it wasn't you who was responsible for this!?" He pointed a thin digit at the Doctor. "You have chemistry training, unlike myself. You have guts, unlike Snape. Everyone has a vendetta against Hecate," he stopped for a second for dramatic effect, "including yourself. So how does anyone know it wasn't you who rigged this? What if you just wanted to kill off Hecate, yet be the hero, so you arranged for Ellyllon to faint and then resurrected her so suspicion was thrown off you!?"
It felt like Ludvig was attacking him for trying to help Ellyllon. Edward felt more offended that he had ever been, with the exception of stumbling upon Skylar.

Ludvig stood there letting this student rant. His emotions clearly had the better of him. It was sad, really. He understood why he'd stand up like this. To a certain extent, it was admirable. But he was a student, and Ludvig was a teacher. The school demanded a level of conduct. This was not it.
"Mister Edvard, if you vant to impress the ladies, I vill gladly take up rapiers vith you at first light. I assure you, that you vould vin such a duel. However, you mistake me and you accuse me of very serious things. You seem to think that I am accusing you of causing students to feint. No, unless of course you have a vay of making students have heavy flows."
"For your attitude, you vill spend a veek as a nurse. You vill vere the nurse uniform. You might even like it, it is vhite, but the jsk comes up a bit higher on you than you might like. You can start now by helping Miss Vivian escort your friend. And I vould recommend keeping your thoughts to yourself until you have had a chance to cool down."

Edward's face flushed a bright red. All of his elegant speech was gone, and he began to stutter. "I. Er. Huh. Harhhh....what?" He finally choked out. "That's the best you can do, huh..." He muttered darkly. "Well, Mister Ludvig, I assure you I will indeed rock that uniform, so they say." He smiled widely. He actually was looking forward to this. It would be a rather small task to make Edward look like a girl, but he supposed he could enlist Ellyllon's help. "Shame on you, Mr. Ludvig." Edward wagged his finger at the Doctor. "You did words things in a very accusatory manner; the mature thing to do is falsely blame students. I forgot that. You have a truly twisted sense of humour."
Edward walked over to Vivian and Ellyllon. "Forgive me. I am extremely offended and upset and I acted out of turn," He said through closed teeth, "and am afraid I might drop Miss Ellyllon. I think you can handle taking her to the dorm, Miss Vivian." He coughed irritably. "I make female students menstruate, apparently, so my keeping near Ellyllon right now would not be a good idea."
Edward turned to Ludvig once more. "I'll see you bright and early whenever you need me, Mr. Ludvig." He wished to bore a hole right through the Doctor's forehead with his eyes, but unfortunately could not. Instead, he gave a small wave before walking off.
Edward leaves the area.

Vivian gave a deep sarcastic sigh. "I am sorry miss Ellylon but it seem that as the men are too engaged with their.. hmm.Verbal duel, we must take to the dorms without their help." She glanced at Ludvig and gave an amused smile. She hoped that Edwards week in the infirmary wasn't going to be filled with this snark war. She would get a sudden urge to slap someone if it would.
"Now please miss Ellylon take support from mys shoulder and we shall take off to your dorm." She said bowing to give the girl a chance to do as she had asked. "We will of course rest if you feel even the sligthest dizziness." She smiled sympatheticly. Vivian if someone knew her way around fainting cases. She resisted the urge to call Ellylon dear like her nanny had done when she was a child.

[/i] Ellyllon thought, her breath quickening as she gasped for air. Would she ever be able to leave? She noticed the gardener shifting uncomfortably; her eyes were drawn to him, but words did not escape her mouth. She aimed a smile at Vincent, hoping to appear thankful for all the man had done for her. She lifted a shaking, pale arm and gave him a diminished wave; however, he was already out the door before she had given him her goodbye. Her smile fell, Ellyllon's expression somewhere between confused and vaguely upset. Her eyes were misty and unfocused as her gaze was drawn from the door to the boy who she had come to the dance with. His voice was venom; it took the breath from her lungs and created a heavy, choking feeling in the back of her throat. Ellyllon had never seen Edward so rough, so nasty; his nature was usually very gentle in Ellyllon's presence. Her hand clenched upon the cold railing of the bench, her knuckles white as the blood escaped from her face. The image of the kind, teasing older brother that she thought she knew shattered like a mirror of fog and illusion in front of her. The girl flinched as Edward swore, the dirty word piercing her as though it were an arrow through her side. And though it pained her terribly, Ellyllon could not take her eyes from Edward; she longed to call his name, to tell him to please just stop this nonsense and take her back to her dormitory with a soft tongue and a familiar smile. Ellyllon forced her foot to slide forward across the cold stone. She still held onto the dark iron rail, making her way toward Edward like an elderly woman with a cane. "Edward," the girl whispered, her face contorted with the effort of keeping herself from crying, "please... please stop this." Her voice was so small that under the retorts from the two men, it most likely hadn't been heard. When Edward approached her, Ellylon's lips were sealed. In the moonlight, the tears in her eyes shone like clear lakes, disrupted by a skipping stone as she blinked and let them fall. She turned from him, abhorring him, his face, his figure, and everything he had said. The girl wanted to accept his apology but could not bring herself to do so; she looked toward the grounds until Edward left, refusing to acknowledge the tears running down her pale face, her carefully applied makeup smearing in the darkness of the night. The girl hesitated before moving her gaze to the young woman beside her. Ellyllon mustered a small smile; she reached up to quickly wipe her cheeks, embarrassed by the scene Edward had just caused. "Thank you so very much, miss," said Ellyllon as she lifted her tiny hand from the railing to place it upon Vivian's shoulder. She swayed slightly but caught herself, relying on Vivian to support her weight. Her gaze went to the doctor and she suddenly became bashful; her tear stained cheeks flushed in the moonlight. "I apologize for Edward's behavior, sir." said Ellyllon to Ludvig, her grayish gaze searching him for acceptance. She wanted to explain that he wasn't usually like this; that he was generally sweet and strong, but with humility and a delicate sense of manners. However, Ellyllon simply could not find the words. She resolved to turn her gaze to the doors which led to the inside of the school and walk through them with all the strength she could muster, building dams to keep back the tears and the sobs she was keeping locked in her chest.[/ul]
