Dear Justice Hättönen
I'm am writing you requesting your aid. For the last several months, I have been locked in a situation that I cannot escape. My parents were both killed sometime ago. Because of the accident that killed my mother and injured me, I was late attending school. Not long after arriving at the school, I was forced to go back home, where I have been sitting waiting for the lawyers to sort things out.
I'm not a lawyer and I don't know lawyer things. I want to be a professional athlete and represent Finland in the Olympics in various track and fencing events. I might even be able to compete for some equestrian events. The problem is, I need to attend the best schools to achieve these dreams. Mille-feuille Academy is that school. They had a professional fencer come from there to represent England.
Now, I'm not sure exactly why I can't attend the school. There was something about some Lord Thorton fellow getting an injunction signed that overturned a decision by one of our countries' lawyers and forces me to return home until I tell everyone some details about my accident. Well, Justice Hättönen, I don't know if you feel comfortable talking about your mother's death, but I'm not. I was talking to a nice therapist in MFA, actually he was a terrible therapist, but he was getting me to talk. I'd much rather talk to one person about it when I'm ready. Its just, I'm not ready yet.
My lawyer told me that you are the one overseeing the case and that only you can appeal the decision. I asked my lawyers if I could speak to you. They said no. So I didn't ask them if I could write you a letter and I'm doing it anyway. So, this is my letter about why I need you to overturn the appeal.
I wasn't at MFA for very long before I was forced to leave. In the time there, I met a bunch of friends. This, was something new for me. I was raised in my parent's estate by the staff. There were no kids for me to really play with. I had started a running group, which was mostly for my own protection. You may not know this, but I lost an eye. The group was starting to become popular when I had to go home. I don't even know if the group is still running. (I didn't mean to pun there, I swear!)
I was attending weekly counselor sessions with Ricard. This was a record for me as I typically made my counselors cry or throw me out after a few minutes. He is a big of a jerk. But he seems like he might actually care.
There are a few people that I'm worried about that I really want to get back to. I miss all of my friends, but I really miss James. The two of us really connected. At least, I connected with him more than anyone else. I had a few rough nights and he made me feel better. He is super nice. One of my friends had a problem with a dress she was making. James was willing to wear it for her so that she could finish it up. And James had a broken leg, and I helped him take the cast off. We really look out for each other and I miss him.
If that's not enough, how about the reason of keeping my promises? I made a promise to Caitlyn to find something to do with her. I'm not sure if this counts as a date, but if it does, I think it would be rude for me not to return to the school.
So what I'm asking you Justice Hättönen is to appeal my case. Let me go back to school at MFA and when you do, you'll know that that future gold medalist got there because you did the right thing!
Signed,
Viljo Erik Tawast
