"An antique shop?" Onora exclaimed. "Is that what you said?" It was quite obvious that she had heard Noelle perfectly well and that the suggestion didn't need to be repeated--she just wanted to say it again. "An antique shop in a town like this might have... first editions... and teacups..." She trailed off, tugging the end of a plait and tilting her face up to daydream about gilded edges and hunter-green leather binding. "Yes, I think we need to go there if it's okay with everyone." She reflected for a moment and tried to drag herself back down to earth. "Hm, I don't know if there's an art supply store, though I'd like that. I'm out of lining paper."
Onora leaned over slightly to inspect Rene's camera. "It's cute," she observed after a moment. "Colchester is so beautiful... we definitely ought to take some photos if we see the right place." She shrugged, and added, "I haven't done modeling before, but at the very least I can take pictures of you two, can't I?" Onora was definitely interested in finding some lovely historical niche and documenting it with a group, but felt odd about the way her own face photographed--it was much like hearing a recording of one's own voice, she supposed, which was not something she enjoyed any more than looking at photos of herself.
"But," Onora said finally, "snacks are good." She hoped she hadn't said it too quickly--it was supposed to be nonchalant. "Wandering can come after, and whatever we find, I have a feeling it's going to be interesting." She twisted over her shoulder, looking at the other students who had come on the bus. "One problem, though--has anyone seen the other girl in the group? I think her name is Yuzuki." She hadn't the foggiest idea who Yuzuki was, but she surely had to be in that crowd somewhere. "We should try to track her down. I'd hate to leave her by herself."

Edward sighed feeling fatigue tug at his eyes, begging them to close. When he got dressed this morning he had been late, so he had to skip his cup of coffee. He groaned, and blinked a few times in rapid succession to an attempt to clear his head. It didn't work. Instead, he just became frustrated. Edward felt a familiar feeling and let out a small yawn from behind a gloved hand. He reclined where he was sitting, and turned up to watch the slight wind whistle through the trees. The noise and bustle of students grew louder, and it wasn't doing much to lift Edward's spirits. This wasn't a fun bustle, it was a busy bustle reminiscent of a bee hive. Letting out an irritated sigh, Edward sat quietly down on a bench in the town square, taking in the setting. People in a plethora of colours and styles milled about, talking and laughing with possibly the most fake smiles Edward had encountered. He rolled his eyes. As much as he loved to jump in and talk, being tired and groggy was a great way to stifle any desire for intense socialization. He regretted signing up for this school trip. It had, at first, seemed like a great idea to explore Colchester with a group of people but he wasn't counting on sleeping in and becoming aggravated. He held his head in his hands for a few seconds before peeking tiredly over them. He straightened up and grabbed a small pocket mirror from his briefcase, adjusting his hair. He may as well wait for Ellyllon, Skylar and Kaz to arrive.

Looking through the clusters of students, Vincent scratched at the back of his head, not sure of what his "charges" even looked like. He had seen their names on paper, but never bothered to them prior to get their numbers.
Digging through his jacket pockets, the gardener searched for the scrap of paper that he scribbled the students' names down. He chewed his bottom lip, taking another look around. "Uhm....Edward...Guildenstern?" he called out.

[/u][/url] in order to have enough time to catch the carriages to Colchester. After rushing the morning away, barely allowing herself enough time to apply sunscreen to her pale face, she discovered she had been so nervous about missing the carriages that she showed up before they had even gotten there. After waiting a fair while (silently worrying that she had missed her ride all together), Ellyllon had climbed into a carriage at random, pressing her face near the window in order to search for Edward. Her eyes were wide, unburdened by a lack of sleep; she had awoke in the morning quite energetic despite the fact the girl had only gotten five hours of rest. Ellyllon did not see Edward, nor anyone else in her group. She hoped she would meet them when they got into town, even though worry nagged in the back of her mind. Had they perhaps decided to not come at all? Ellyllon may not have minded a trip to Colchester alone (she had made it many times), but she had been hoping to see Edward. Perhaps she would be able to get him a Christmas present in his absence... or bring him back some cake from the bakery-- he did take a liking to cake, as Ellyllon had noticed. She spent the carriage ride into town reading, preferring to occupy herself with a book rather than looking out to the Western Woods (it was scenery which Elly had seen many times before, thanks to illegal late night wanderings) for she found it rather bland. Always a fan of french literature, she held in her hands a novel by Jean Genet, and in her bag were the works of Rousseau. Her nose buried in Our Lady of the Flowers, the journey to Colchester seemed to take no time at all. It was only when the carriages stopped and Ellyllon was forced to look up from her book did she realize her nauseousness. The girl regretted not looking up during the ride here now; she always became car sick from reading on long journeys. Her head spinning slightly, Ellyllon climbed out of the carriage with her eyes to the cloudless sky. It was really nice weather for October; she thought that the staff had chosen a wonderful day for the school trip. Looking around, holding her book-laden bag close to her tiny frame, Ellyllon peered out into the crowd of students. She tried to find someone from her group; anyone, even her chaperon. For the first few minutes, the girl had little luck. She had taken to walking around the town square, searching almost endlessly for a familiar golden-haired face. Her hip length hair trailed behind her like free flowing satin, tied in two low pigtails. Nearly ready to give up and spend the day alone with her book in the town square, Ellyllon finally spotted Edward's familiar figure. She nearly squealed with joy; her feet carried her like a race horse to him, her face flushing from his presence. Stopping a few feet away from him, Ellyllon peered at his fatigued silhouette. Her heart was beating fast as she took careful, soft steps toward Edward, wishing not to disturb him (for Ellyllon had noted he looked particularly drawn this morning.) She stopped next to him, barely taller than he was sitting. The noise of others around her didn't reach Ellyllon's ears; her attention was focused upon Edward. "Hello," said Ellyllon, moving to sit next to him on the bench. The girl sat daintily, careful to adjust her petticoat so it did not peek out from her skirt. Her hands were firmly clenched on the handles of her bag as she leaned in to Edward, greeting him with a friendly, soft kiss upon the cheek. Her face reached high color from this; but she knew as well as he did it was merely a friendly salutation, devoid of romantic implications. Her eyes looked down to her creamy shoes as she leaned to make them connect with the ground beneath the bench; however, they would not reach. The girl couldn't say she wasn't used to this. Straightening up, her gaze was drawn to Edward. "It's a rather nice day isn't it? You can hardly believe that fall has descended upon England, it is usually so very cold." Ellyllon stopped suddenly, and giggled. "How drab of me! Talking about the weather. Could there be anything as boring?" Ellyllon's eyes searched Edward's for any sign of his usual humorous, teasing nature. She only noticed tiredness, and perhaps- was she imagining this? - agitation. She lowered her voice, concern flooding her words. Ellyllon let her grip upon her bag loosen as her concentration focused upon Edward. "You look ill, Edward. Are you quite alright?" Ellyllon inquired, honestly worried about her friend. She didn't hear his name being called.[/ul]

Edward peered in a bored manner from around his pocket mirror. "Here." he called out lightly, but loud enough for the chaperone to hear. Making sure his hair sat perfectly as he wished it to, he admired himself before quickly closing the mirror and noticed a familiar face framed with blonde sitting beside him. He sent a slight smile towards her. "Ah, Miss Ellyllon, good morning." He smiled but without the usual cheeriness. Edward felt like he was about to keel over at any second, so he mentally slapped himself awake. Upon feeling a soft kiss on his cheek, Edward smiled in gratitude.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds, but felt himself about to drift off, and reopened them. The world spun for a few seconds before Edward regained his focus. A good cup of coffee or some sweets would perk him right up, so he hoped silently for the arrival of Skylar and Kaz. Edward felt himself swaying a little in time to the wind gusts. He coughed to wake himself up. There was no use being agitated around Ellyllon after all.
"I'm sorry," Edward apologized with a tired smile, "I haven't had my morning cup of coffee." He looked off in thought before adding, "or any sugar of any kind. It's a shame." He gazed at a random spot on the ground and yawned again. "I'm sure once we get going and I'm able to pick up some candy I will recover." His smile was a little less tired at the though of treats. He adjusted his hat without thinking and sighed, hoping to get on with the trip.

The gardener heard a small confirmation of the name he just called out. "Oh." Looking around, he met eyes with a male student with blonde hair, his companion--he assumed--joining him soon after. He approached the pair, retrieving his phone from his trouser pocket.
"Ah, are you..." he glanced down at the paper, "Miss Ellyllon Arthur?" he inquired to Edward's friend.

Vincent was caught off guard at the whole of the girl's reaction, surprised she would go so far as to curtsy. The degree of courtesy she displayed him touched on his nerves; he had also caught the quick change in her expression, and he internally winced. Well, he shouldn't be all too surprised, he supposed.
"In a way, yes," he replied. "You're free to go wherever you'd like without me. I, ah, just need your mobile numbers, and I'll give you mine, in case of emergencies." He paused. "I don't supposed either of you know the other two in your group?"

Junko took the pen and paper from Andrew without looking at it. "Have fun, kids," she muttered with a small smile before turning instantly on her heels. She needed a coffee. Or maybe just something delicious in general. Only that would distract her from having to sit around all day, waiting for a bunch of kids to get tired of shopping in antique stores. What was the appeal anyway? That was something she'd never understood, even when she was wearing Lolita on a frequent basis. Junko had always tried to keep her mind in the present.
She sighed. The only way to get this day over with was to embrace it. Maybe she'd text some of her old friends and catch up for the day. Or she may even meet some tall, handsome stranger in a coffee shop. Junko unfolded the paper the students had written their phone numbers on. Her eyes glanced over the numbers, one by one. Fortunately, every student had written legibly. And then her eyes grazed over Andrew's number. What had he written there? She squinted, trying to decipher the tiny letters.
One o'clock.
She folded the paper and put it into her clutch with a grin. Maybe today would be more fun than she'd expected.

Noelle hadn't seen Yuzuki around, perhaps she'd got lost in the crowd. "You're right, we'd better wait for her.", she said, even though she was extremely eager to get away and go. She'd planned her co-ordinate a week before. Looking at Rene's camera, she felt a sudden impatience to get one of her own. He parents had ordered her an old-fashioned Holga for Christmas, but it still hadn't arrived at Mille-feuille yet. Noelle was eager to take photos with it as she'd always loved toy cameras, the light leaks in the side looked sometimes ethereal. But she guessed there were those who just preferred point-and-click cameras, they were easy to use after all, capturing memories easily. And there had better be some memories to capture today. "So Rene", she asked. "you're a photographer? Do you prefer digital or film cameras?"
