Kardynalka enters the area.
Wearing her new Valentine's coordinates, the young lady walked, more like strolled, slowly to her table. Not knowing anyone who would attend this table scared her just a bit, however she knew she would do her best to not be so extremely shy at first. It was about time to break out of the 'new girl' shell she wore. A hard task, but Kardynalka was willing to take the challenge.
Her wa-lolita dress fanned out when she sat daintily on the chair. The cushion was a welcome relief for anyone, and the well made-up girl was no exception. Her obi restricted breathing, and forced her to sit straighter than normal, but it would not make for much of a problem in the long run. A kenzashi rested on the side of her head, just above loose curls. Mary Janes tapped gently on the floor, raised high to the tip while she crossed her ankles.
Scanning the room, it seemed like she was quite early for the event, however it would prove to work to her advantage: she would have the chance to see everyone who entered. At that moment, Kardynalka would sit and chill until the participants got there.

Ageha enters the area.
Ageha quietly made her way down the corridor, and to the Ground floor Dining Hall. She had not been keen at first on the idea of a group date, but had talked herself into it. However, she also hadn't the slightest clue on what to wear to such an event. In the end, she wore a black dress and black cardigan, paired with a luscious red rose headdress. She wasn't normally a fan of red, but occasionally wore it as an accent color when appropriate.
As she crossed the entrance hall, she was a bit taken on how quiet the room was, compared to the Yule Ball at least. However, it was still early, and she knew things would pick up quickly. Ageha glided across the room, one she had never been in before. As she made her way to her table, she admired the decor and classical architecture of the room. It was perfectly elegant; definitely suited to the building and academy. The Valentines decor was also lovely, of course, just as everything usually was.
As she came close to her table, she realized that someone was already present. A girl, in a wa-loli coordinate, sat quietly by herself. Putting on a friendly smile, Ageha sat down across from her.
"Hello. How do you do?"

Lucas enters the areaDamn! Why am I always late?Lucas had almost completely forgotten about the Valentine's Date Café. He'd absentmindedly signed himself up last week, thinking it'd be cool to meet new people, then it had completely slipped his mind as he went about his daily life for the rest of the week. He'd only remembered when he noticed one of his roommates leaving to go to it. He was so absent-minded sometimes, it was unbelievable. At least he remembered, even though he'd had to wear whatever he could get out of his wardrobe, a long black pirate-style coat, a white men's shirt with a ruffled collar and simple black pants. It didn't look to bad in the mirror, but he was still worried that it wouldn't look that good. But it was too late now, he really should have planned this earlier. Walking intently into the dining hall, Lucas checked the list of names, noticing that he was on Table 4. A fair few people had already arrived, and while walking towards the table, he noticed there were already two girls there. At least he wasn't the first, it would have been slightly awkward if he had been; Lucas preferred the company of others. One girl had long brown hair and was wearing a rather vibrant wa-loli outfit, whereas the other had startling green eyes and wore a rather simple black co-ord with a red rose, perfect for Valentine's, of course. Lucas found it quite easy to muster the courage to talk to them. "Hi girls, it seems like I'm on this table too." He flashed a grin at them, and sat down opposite the two, waiting for a reaction.

Before the other girl could respond, another person walked up to their table. Ageha turned her head to the side to see a boy sitting down with them.
"Hello." Ageha flashed a friendly smile. The boy had thick brown hair, and was wearing a peculiar black and white outfit paired with a long pirate coat. Ignoring the rest, Ageha found herself focused on the coat; her eyes lit up at the sight of it. She had always been a fan of pirate-loli, and owned a few pieces from a popular pirate brand herself. Unfortunately she wore them as goth, seeing as she didn't own any piratesque accessories to coordinate with. This was her first time ever meeting anyone else, however, who seemed to share the same admiration for it.
"You...like pirate outfits?" she asked with a curious smile, without even remembering to introduce herself first.

Lucas turned to the green eyed girl who had just spoken. "Oh...yes I do like pirate outfits." He smiled. "This was put together quite quickly though, so it's not my best. I'm interested in natural-kei too, but I felt that was a bit too informal for today. I'm guessing you like them too?"
Lucas was glad to find someone who liked Pirate as much as him. Back when he lived in Toronto, he had twinned with some of the girls for photoshoots in Pirate, which he had enjoyed. To him, Pirate was just that more flouncy and embellished and beautiful than any of the other styles. It stood out the most.
Lucas realized he hadn't introduced himself. "I'm Lucas by the way. Lucas Albion. And you?"

Kardynalka paused her speech when Lucas arrived. She wore a shy smile, no matter how hard she tried to brighten herself for these new people. Taking a moment to allow the two to speak, the girl faded out of the conversation. She attempted to make an effort to remember what she could of these people, and it was not hard as only one person had given information that seemed pertinent.
After a moment, she inserted herself back into the conversation as delicately as possible. "Hello, Lucas, I'm Kardynalka Huntington. I'm so sorry," she turned to face Ageha, "I never did catch your name, dear."

Ageha was happy to find that the boy was interested in pirate, as well as natural-kei. Both sub-styles did not seem to garner the attention they deserved.
"Yes, quite. It doesn't seem to have such a large following these days though."
While it did have it's loyal fans around the world, it seemed as though it was always pushed into the shadows by other sub-styles. Specifically, the more....colorful....styles that had been rapidly gaining popularity. Then again, maybe that wasn't so bad. Truly, that made both styles more unique; a quality in fashion that she admired most of all.
Ageha nearly jumped as the girl across from her then suddenly spoke. She had been so enthralled in the small conversation, she had nearly forgotten their other table mate was with them. How rude she must think they were!
"Oh, dear me, please forgive my rudeness," Ageha spoke apologetically, "I'm Ageha. It's nice to meet you both!" she wore a bright smile, hoping she'd be able to become friends with both students.

"Ageha, that's a pretty name", he said. "It suits you." He was sounding a bit corny, maybe it was all the songs he listened to that made him a bit more of an old-fashioned romantic. At least this girl was friendly. Maybe it was a good thing that he'd come to this event, he found it easy to talk to people in groups, but he still enjoyed one to one conversations.
Like Ageha, he had nearly forgotten about the other girl at the table. "Eh, sorry! I didn't notice you there, Kardynalka.", his Canadian accent showing through, as it usually did when he was surprised. Shifting round in his seat so that he could see the two girls, he took in the atmosphere, fiddling slightly with the buttons on his jacket collar. The two girls seemed to have put a lot of effort into their co-ordinates, which was more than could be said for him. At least he looked presentable.
Deciding to abandon any more anxiety about himself, as he didn't want to appear unruffled, Lucas decided to talk more with the people on his table. "So yes, my name's Lucas, and if you didn't guess by my slip of accent there, I'm from Canada, Toronto to be exact. I love music; I play the guitar and piano." His standard introductary speech. "What about you girls?" he said, smiling.

Kardynalka giggled at the two, they had both thought they had done her some wrong. "Oh, no fear, I was just listening to you both. I'm not surprised ya'll," she caught herself directly after the slur, "you two, did not see me here." Smiling happily, she merely leaned forward and listened to Lucas' introduction to himself. "Canada, hm?" The lolita nodded slowly and did her best to commit his speech to memory.
"I'm from Texas, actually. Horse riding and sewing are my passions." Looking at Ageha, she silently passed the torch to the girl.
