name , René-Marie Henri Lablanc |[Legally, René-Marie Joseph Henri Lablanc. He often drops the 'Joseph' for various reasons.]|[/size]
nicknames , René, Rene, Ren, Né-né, Ne-ne, etc. |[Some variation on his name, including spelling it without the accent]|. Also, feminizing his name, in that René-Marie becomes Renée-Marie.
age and year , Nineteen, fifth year.
sexual preference , Bisexual.
birthday , May twenty-second, 1991.
style , Be him male or female, his style is a mixture of aristocrat, ero and guro. When portraying himself as his proper sex, he also throws in dandy. For more casual days, or when partying, his style shifts from lolita to visual kei, still eroguro.
occupation , Student. Models online.

height , 5'8"
weight , 113 lbs.
tattoos and piercings , Hasn't been under the needle yet in terms of a tattoo. His ears are pierced, though.
best feature , Androgynous appearance, shoulder-length hair, clear skin.
general , With a slight build and large, brown eyes, Rene-Marie is one of those people who can flow between genders with a little work, and a little make-up. His hair, naturally a light auburn, has been dyed so the colour is more vibrant and lively. Keeping his ivory-toned skin well-shaved and moisturized is a must, as he relies on his appearance to get him through life.
As a boy, he loves colours that pop but still remain elegant. Red, namely, is a favorite of his. Because of his skinny frame, he tends to avoid excessively snug clothing, instead opting for fitting clothes that also make himself look healthier. Shorts or plus fours are generally avoided, due to this reason. For casual outings and parties, he leans more towards his eroguro kei fashion, complete with contacts. For more formal settings, or perhaps on a whim, he moves more to his dandy and aristocrat side. Again, a pop of colour can usually be found in the jacket, perhaps more in an accessory.
When presenting himself as a girl, he tends to go all the way. Breast prostheses, a cleavage top, or padding is a necessity for him, since he tries his hardest to make sure he passes to the opposite sex. Hip pads aren't needed, as the lolita skirts and panniers he wears hide such a figure, and his waist is made narrower by corsetry. In his feminine mix of styles, a customary element to his look is a 'blood'-splattered white corset. Definitely, lighter colours that show off the red stains best are more preferred when he changes. If he's worried about getting caught, he does have a variety of auburn and black wigs that he occasionally wears.
playby , Sébastien

likes , Lace, alcohol, tea, loud music |[Of most any sort]|, crossdressing, attention, sweets.
dislikes , Anything dull, be it a topic or a colour. He also isn't fond of nuts, bitter things, black coffee, sciences, or writing long pieces.
strengths , Rene's open-minded, speaks his mind, easily adaptable to most situation, honest, and quick to perk up when he's down.
weaknesses , He puts on a front in his personality, making him seem 'fake' and shallow. He also comes across as being flaky, and unreliable.
fears , Being alone for too long, forgotten, ignored or the like is the main one, due to his father's actions. Secondly would be commitment, and he often can't find himself in anything stable because of it. |[Work, relationships, etc.]|. He also fears losing weight, as he has enough trouble putting it on as is.
quirks , His accent and misplacing English for French, especially in distress, could be considered one. He also tends to wear his eyepatches over his left eye when portraying himself as male, and over his right eye as a girl.
secrets , He keeps his two lives very much separate. As thus, as a male, he keeps his vocal range hidden. The reason he crossdresses regardless? He enjoys it.
how , An older sibling to him, Claire, was very much into the fashion, being a kuro lolita. She left home rather abruptly one day, leaving behind all her books in the process. Rene loved his sister very much, loved her style as well. So he took the books as his own and flipped through the many pages. It wasn't long before he tried on some of her abandoned panniers and skirts out of curiosity, and decided to pursue the fashion himself. Of course, he took his own path, apart from his sister's.
general , René-Marie has divided his life as neatly as he believes is possible. On the one hand, when showing himself as the boy he is, he tends to be a kind person, who speaks up when he feels he has something important to add to the conversation. He will admit when he's wrong about something, even if he's just saying it to avoid an argument. Also, he's quite a party boy when around people he knows. After all, don't want to leave a bad impression.
When he's appearing as Renée, or his girl self, he has one of two states. In the first, he's rather snarky. Not afraid to give a witty retort back and also seeming a bit conceited. Usually, this is done before a camera, since he wants to try and build a powerful image. Besides, confidence demands attention, does it not? On the other hand, however, is a side which is even more shy than how he normally appears. Speaking in a soft falsetto, and too quick to apologize over every little thing, he becomes a wallflower. This isn't seen as often, as such people are glazed over and quickly forgotten, something he wants to avoid having happen.

hometown , Montréal, Québec
family , extensive; Andrée Richard |[Foster mother]|, Robert Richard |[Foster Father]|, numerous foster siblings. His favorite of these is Claire.
pets , A pair of male budgies named Ciel and Pâcques.
best memory , His first paid photoshoot. Granted, his friend was the photographer, but still.
worst memory , Being abandoned as a child. His mother's attempted murder-suicide would have been so, if he had been old enough to remember the event.
history , René-Marie was born to a Catholic family in Laval. As such, and by his Quebecois family's naming traditions, he was given the middle name Joseph in honor of the biblical figure. His actual middle name, Henri, is that of his uncle, and was given to him since the man had recently passed away. However, that wouldn't be the first death that influenced his early life, as his mother developed a serious case of postpartum psychosis. After months of her mental and physical health declining, she attempted to take her child's life and, when that failed due to her husband, she took her own. His father soon struggled with being both a widower and a single father, regularly hiring a babysitter to help him raise his child as he went through therapy to help him deal with life.
Life didn't get much better, as years later his father called the baby sitter to watch over him and left, discarding his cellphone as he did. Quite simply, caring for a young boy after the death of his wife had proven to be too much for him. René-Marie was on his own for a while, until he answered the phone - someone looking for his father - and asked them when he or his babysitter was going to come home, because he was scared, lonely and hungry. The government became involved, and he was put into the foster care system as his other relatives were unable to care for him. It wasn't long before he was adopted by Andrée and Robert Richard, a couple living on St. Catharine's who had taken in foster children before and would continue to do so as he grew older. The house was divided, though, and it would take him years to realize such. On the one hand, some of the foster children were like himself: neglected or abused, but came from good family. On the other, there were some who were children of prostitutes or drug users. The latter were especially watched, had to do more chores, most certainly had to go to church, and the like. His favorite sister, Claire, was of the latter group. Two or three years older than her, and the daughter of a whore who worked somewhere along the street.
It was after she left home one day, and when he had discovered the style and, in the process, Mille-feuille Academy. He brought up the idea of him moving to Europe to his foster parents, who were. . . hesitant, to say the least. After all, from the name, they thought it to be a culinary school for a pâtissier, and he showed no signs of such ability. Still, he showed them the research on it and all the work he had gone through for it. He had a passport already, enough money from a trust fund he could now touch to cover travel, and the school had dorms where he could stay. Not to mention, he was bilingual and would be able to understand his classmates and teachers. It took a lot of persuasion on his part, but they finally relented and allowed him to finish his studying overseas.

sample post , Eyes were wide as Rene-Marie looked outside, amazed at the wonder. Would he fit in? Would his accent fall in the way? So many questions were roaming through his head that it was just a blur. This. . . this couldn't have been happening. He was out of the country. Away from his numerous siblings -- as much as he loved them, they did get on his nerves -- and away from everything. A place he'd hopefully fit in far more seamlessly than anywhere in Quebec.
He smoothed out the creases of his jacket, hands shaking due to the anticipation. One year was all he'd be here for, due to his age, but he was sure it would be an experience like no other. All the things he could learn, people he could meet. People who were like him in some regard or another.
'If only they were,' he thought, eyes drawn to his nails. Still painted snow-white with the red splotches from his last shoot as Renee, he noticed, curling them inward into a fist. Perhaps, he reasoned, he was wrong. It was always a possibility, always a chance that he wouldn't be seen as a freak. 'Because everyone ignores freaks.'
Shaking his head, Rene forced a smile on his face. Negative thinking never got him anywhere, right? And he was here, he was actually here. A hand slipped into his pocket and he took out his phone, quickly dialing up his foster parents. At this hour? They were probably still asleep. Regardless, a quick message didn't hurt.
His suspicions were right as the answering machine picked up his call. "Ah, Andrée? Robert? It's René-Marie." Naturally, he had slipped into his mother tongue as he spoke. Neither of them were accustomed to English, after all. "I just wanted to say that I'm here, and that you shouldn't worry. I'll call you again at. . . some point, okay? Bye." And the message ended as he hung up, pocketing the phone.
