height , 5 foot, 8 inches.
weight , 130 pounds.
tattoos and piercings , None.
best feature , Appealing bright blue, grey eyes.
general , Charlie's style is incredibly simple. Follows on the styles of Edwardian and Victorian England fashion for average to well-to-do boys but with a modern twist. He is a fairly good-looking boy (though he looks younger than his years and has slightly feminine features, especially his long, dark lashes), taking after his Austrian mother's sharp, dainty features and petit pursed mouth, but his father's curly mousy, brown coloured hair and deep set round and bright blue, grey eyes. His eyebrows are usually downturned at the ends as though he is constantly worrying.
Clothes wise, Charlie usually dresses in well-tailored expensive blazers, vests, knitted jumpers, breeches, pants, shirts, suspenders and ribbon ties. He wears high fashion brands most and is partial to British brands - Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and Mulberry. After starting at Mille-Feuille he has been looking into proper "lolita" and "ouji" brands in order to slip in with the mode. Sometimes, he likes to wear cravats (and less so, jabots, as they are far too old for Victorian and Edwardian fashion) and stand collars shirts. He usually wears knee high sock with loafers during winter and occasionally tights under his breeches. His fabric of choice is tweed in browns, greys, black and whites. Charlie doesn't much care for his unruly, curly hair or his looks most of the time so he comes across as quite natural and boyish.
He dresses up very elegantly and formally for his piano and violin concerts with neat slick hair and dark three piece suits.
playby , (At least inspired by) Mathias Lauridse - but younger, with a rounder face and a little bit, erm, girlier.

likes , Music (romantic, classical, occasionally baroque and limited popular), violin and piano, reading, poetry, football and cricket (although he is not very good at either), fencing, problem-solving, being alone, winter and autumn, physics and chemistry and mathematics.
dislikes , Cigarette smoke, summer, English, Psychology, formal etiquette, large crowds, rude people.
strengths , Concert pianist and violinist, virtuoso and prodigy.
weaknesses , English text analysis, shy and nervous, Visual arts, horribly clumsy, dreamy.
fears , Spiders when indoors and his violin strings breaking during a concert.
quirks , Becomes incredibly articulate and accurate when playing music, although usually clumsy. He also wriggles his nose when something is distasteful.
secrets , He secretly envies his older brother a little for being very handsome, outgoing and talented.
how , After reading Sherlock Holmes and Oscar Wilde's works, Charlie generally thought that the Ewardian and Victorian periods would have been the perfect eras to live in. So he decided to live in it. Since he has been playing the violin and piano from the early age of four, his natural bias towards all things classical was not altered much when he chose to dress and become a Victorian citizen (with modern technology, of course).
general , Charlie is usually quiet and reserved and rarely smiles at people. When he does, he is either beaming with happiness or smiling nervously. He tends to avoid large throngs of people and keeps to himself. The only times when he doesn't mind people are when they are his audience during a concert or when they are playing football or cricket together. His favourite places at school are the library, practise rooms and performing auditorium. He is usually very, very clumsy and is awful at dance, but once he is positioned at a piano or with a violin, his composure is one of complete, utter elegance and control.
From his constant presence in aristocratic circles, Charlie's speech is usually impeccable in manner and in form (high contrast to his physical clumsiness), and although he stutters a little when he is extremely distrssed or nervous, he is usually articulate and can control at least a little of the terrible nerves that he has. He has a dislike for strict imposition of formal etiquette but also dislikes outright rude people. From the same set of circumstances, Charlie can sometimes unconsciously be a little pompous and contemptuous of non-aristocratic members of the public.
In his spare time, he usually likes to practise music. Besides practising, he enjoys problem-solving and he solved this problem by purchasing a Nintendo DS (decked out in steampunk style) and all three Professor Layton games. When there is little else to do, he will very likely solve physics, chemistry and mathematics problems or fence alone.

hometown , Aldershot (GU11), Surrey, England.
family , Father, Edward William Watson; older brother (eighteen years old), Edward George Watson (Runs from a long line of Watsons, with distant relations to a few known noblemen in positions of barons).
pets , None.
best memory , Charlie's best memory was his solo performance of Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F Minor to the Queen of England.
worst memory , His worst memory came about when he was playing in a string quartet to the Crown Prince of Denmark and his new wife, Princess Mary. He hadn't checked his violin before playing and his "A" string broke. In short, he had to improvise and skip parts of the piece where required notes were unavailable.
history , Being teased for being rather lanky and gangly and sometimes being a general "weirdo" because of the way he dresses and walks and talks at his old, posh boarding school, his father, Edward Senior, let Charlie choose a school and he picked Mille-Feuille. Not a bad pick as it turns out.
His mother, Annelise von Habsburg, was the one who introduced Charlie to music, herself being an Austrian aristocrat with considerable knowledge of music. She had attended the Conservatoire de Paris where she met Edward Senior. She taught Charlie and his brother the piano, violin and flute from early childhood, taking them on tours all over the world, until her untimely death when Charlie was eight years old and his brother ten. She had also insisted upon her children being able to speak German as respect to her heritage, and the two were taught French and other school subjects from travelling tutors.
During his later childhood, after the death of his mother, Charlie continued to play and tour around the world as a child prodigy with his older brother and has had some critics calling him a modern day "Mozart". His father is a well-to-do, successful lawyer and businessman with a musical streak, playing the cello and bass. Charlie's father studied music studied at the Conservatoire de Paris and Law at the University of Cambridge and at the University of Oxford. After the death of his mother, Charlie's father has never really been the same, a little distant and at times, cold towards his children and rarely at home upon the excuse that he had business in another country.
At thirteen, Charlie was required to enter a secondary school and had to dispense of his tutors and momentarily halt his tours. His father sent both his children to a boarding school in the main city to "learn independence". The boarding school, although prestigious and expensive, lacked focus on talented children. Edward Junior, onthe other hand, has not yet, or may not, transfer to Mille-Feuille for the last year of his schooling before going to the University of Music and Theatre in Leipzig, Germany.
Now, after moving to Mille-Feuille, Charlie works hard at music performance and composition and hopes to one day, reach the Conservatoire de Paris like his mother and father before him and perhaps to the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna in his mother's hometown. He chose Mille-Feuille as a place of quiet refuge for practise and strengthen his talents. He has only just transferred from his previous boarding school into second year at Mille-Feuille.

sample post ,The sun was streaming through the window curtains of the dormitory and Charlie suddenly jerked awake. His eyes were wide, “Oh poppycock and sunshine! I’m late for my lesson!” As he quickly got dressed, he heard a few annoyed murmurs from those still in bed.
Charlie hurried into the practice room and sighed with relief. No one was here yet. Not even the music teacher. He sat down and realized that he hadn’t put on a tie. He sighed and shook his head, “Haaah. How forgetful of me. Late nights are more awful than I originally thought!”
He pulled out his violin and tuned the instrument. He scratched his head. Something was not quite right with his violin. Upon closer inspection, Charlie found that one of the strings had been broken. The thread was not going to hold for much longer. Charlie ran his fingers through his golden hair and realized that he hadn’t combed it down. Rummaging through his pockets, he found several hairclips and neatly clipped up any stray hair which was in his face. He picked at the broken string, and without so much as a gentle pluck, the string broke in two. He looked at the violin dejectedly, “Now I need a new string.” As he shook his head, a loud knock was heard at the door.
