"Hey. Julie. You okay?", said Noelle. Her face appeared to be in some sort of reverie, and the lights were around her. Noelle was startled, but also curious, about what was happening. Slowly, she walked up to the girl, but was still being careful of stepping in the ring. If there really were fairies about, she'd heard stepping in their ring rendered you completely under their power, or other myths. They might be benevolent or malevolent.
Yet inside, Noelle was happy that she'd experienced something beautiful; she still had after all, the sketch of the mushrooms and the lights in her notebook, a memento of this event that only the two girls had been there to see.

Julie's cheeks became cold for an instant, which was awkward because they had been all red and sweating until then. She holded the coin and looked at her hands. Strange... Somehow, it was as if something about her had changed, but everything looked the same. She looked around and at Noelle, but only saw everything exactly as it was before touching that coin. "Yeah, I'm fine...", she mumbled, "I should probably finish my training... See you around!". Then Julie started to run, away from the fairy ring and from her roommate. She put the coin in the trouser's pocket, just in case... It was really magical...

The fairy queen watched as Julie panicked from the effects of her magic and ran off. It was a difficult, initial transition. In time, she would grow to accept the change as one that she welcomed. She was the first needed to save them. There would be others, and they needed to hurry, for the fairy queen knew that the others stirred. "Be safe," she whispered into the night air.
Yes, the other two, Noelle and Hecate who were nearby would hear the words whispered on the wind, but they would not know its origin. All that mattered now was that Julie stay safe.
She let the luring lights fade overhead. The field, not currently being looked at by any mortal eyes, returned to normal. There were no signs it had ever been there. The only single clue was the sketch one of the mortals had made. Let it be the gift for pointing out the coin to Julie. The gift was worth the exchange.
