Restricted to Dorm 2 residentsAfter a long day, Noelle was happy to just go back to her room and relax. There had been an awful lot of work given by her teachers, and the pressure of it was beginning to take its toll. Noelle was only a second year, so she wondered what it would be like for the other years, especially those a above. Maybe it was because she hadn't concentrated much in her old school before, so this amount of work was new to her at least. There was rarely any time to go and sit and read in the library as she used to, let alone any other hedonistic activities she took pleasure in, apart from art class. Though thankfully the day was nearing its end now; the sky was turning a bruised bluish-purple, as the sun set and the crows called. Immediately after entering the room, Noelle, taking advantage of the fact that no-one was in, took off the dress that she'd been wearing today, changed into her favourite casual top and bloomers and leaned down on her bed haphazardly, as the duvet was a mess and there were books scattered over the covers from various reading sessions before bed. She really should have gotten to tidying her room by now, but it was beneath her mind at the moment, as all she wanted to do was relax. Resting her head on the pillow, she pulled out the nearest book to her, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, and flicking to where she had left off last night, her place marked by a beaded bookmark, began to read, at last relaxed.

Vivian stepped in after a rather stressfull day. She dropped her bag on her bed and sat down. She couldn't belive she still had to do homework. Also there was the evening nurse shifth ahead of her. She took a deep breath and gathered herself. "Good afternoon Noelle", she finally said and took out her copy of Jane Eyre. This was the second time she was reading that particular book at the current school year. She placed it on her bed and rosea and started to tidy up her corner of the room. She placed her school work in to neat stack on her desk and put her bag in to her cabinet. After this she removed her high heeled boots and palced them carefully in front of the cabinet. After these small chores had been done she took out a cup and a teapot. She poured some leaves in to the pot and left room to get some hot water. After returning she poured the water on the pot and sat down again. "Will you have tea with me?" The fragrance of rose flavored black tea filled the room.

Noelle had barely raised her head when Vivian had entered the room, it was typical of her to get so engrossed in a book that she wouldn't even notice an earthquake. Although maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, as Vivian had walked in quietly, and Noelle had only noticed her when she spoke.
"Ah, hello Vivian." she said to her roommate, smiling. "Of course I'd like some tea, thank you." The sweet smell of the leaves was always a pleasant thing to experience, it just made the atmosphere even more relaxing. this was the sort of thing Noelle just loved, doing, basically, little or nothing. It was little moments like this that made her glad to be at Mille-feuille.
"So how has your day been, Vivian?", she said, engaging in some small talk while the tea was being prepared. "I've had so much work today, I needed to just take a breather."

Vivian quickly produced another cup and poured the fragrant tea. "I had somuch work too and I still have the nurse duty later tonight. " She gave a small smile. "I enjoy it though." She quicly touched her pendant which layed on her neck over the bodice of her dress.
She sat down taking the book she had placed on the bed earlier and opened it after taking a sip of her tea, she now put on her nigth stand. She had missed the familiar words of Jane Eyre and was happy to revisit them. Jane's bravery touched her deeply and Vivian often wondered wether she could be as strong.
"Have you already tried the camera your parent's send you?" Vivian asked and reached for her tea. The taste was sweet yet not too sweet. This was utter bliss.

Noelle took a cup of tea, inhaling its aroma. Sweet, but not too overpowering; the taste was similar. It was just what she needed right now. "Ah, the photos!" she said, glancing over to her Holga camera. It was a rather retro-styled plastic one, slightly ugly even, but she hoped the photos would be better. "I've taken a few shots, but the film isn't finished yet so it's not developed." She was rather impatient to see the finished shots, but she'd have to post them away.
Thinking about her last photography escapede made her think of Damien, the boy she'd met the first time she took some shots. He had an interesting personality to say the least, he had been almost gentlemanly, but he had seemed wistful at certain points, especially when talking about friends. Noelle could sympathise, it looked like it was difficult for them both to get to know people. She wondered if Vivian knew him.
"Though while I was out taking photos,", she said back to Vivian, "I banged my head on a tree. This boy called Damien helped me though, who seemed quite kind...if a little lonely." Maybe he wasn't though, it was just her first perception. "Have you met him?" she asked.

"I see. Well I Hope they will turn out nicely." Vivian smiled and took a sip of her tea. The faint taste of rose filled her mouth with sweetness. A feeling of satisfaction ran trhough her spine. "Oh god have I needed this.." she whispered and felt how the stress of her day fell of her back. The blood circulation was slowly reaching her toes again after the high healed boots she had chose to wear.
She almost dropped her cup when Noelle mentioned Damien. Quickly regaining her poise Vivian smiled. "We have met." She decided that less she said about the circumstances the better. "In dance class. He is quite good at it." Vivian smiled. "I am happy to hear he helped you and hope that you didn't get too hurt by the tree."
Damien was lonely? Vivian pondered the boy for a moment. Maybe his rudeness had been just nervousness. "Also I am glad that you have made a new friend."

Damien was good at dancing? There was another thing Noelle hadn't known about him. He was certainly an intriguing person. "Yes, he was quite nice." Noelle said, smiling. "I will have to meet him again soon." She took a sip of her tea, the fragrant taste of it melted down her throat, it was just what she needed after this week.
She would like to see Damien again. he had been very kind to her. And it was uncommon for her to want to get to know people better, but it felt like she should do such a thing. It was very strange indeed. "Anyway", said Noelle, trying to shake that thought out of her head. "Have you met anyone new recently? Or done anything new?"
She wanted to mention Ludvig but bit her tongue before the words could come out, knowing it may upset Vivian.

Vivian silently took a sip of her tea. She thougth of the brunch she had a few sundays ago. "I met some of the new boys. Charles and Aaron I believe. And I have been talking to miss Zahra a lot ltely." Vivian smiled. "Doctor Ludvig introduced us." She brushed her hair back and lowered her cup.
"So no I haven't made much friends since Christmas. Not complaining though. I seem to have a busy life." She chuckled a bit. Between school wrok and nurse duty Vivian had just a few moments of freedom. Of course the situation was alarming. Veronica had not woken up no matter what they had tried.

Noelle smiled. "Ah yes, I have been acquainted with Charlie and Aaron too.", she said, albeit she had met them only briefly, Aaron on Valentine's Day, and Charlie in the library, yet she hadn't really had a chance to get to know them very well. Nevertheless, she'd probably see them around school. She'd found herself sitting in the library most days, not really taking to anyone at all. It wasn't good for her to not have anyone to talk to, so this cup of tea right now was an excellent opportunity.
Noelle had one thing that she had been biting her tongue over, she'd been assuming things about Dr. Ludvig and Vivian. She knew there were just teacher and student, but it seemed as though there was something between them a bit more than that. If she didn't inquire about it, how would it fulfill her curiosity? She was naturally like that. However, she'd have to take care not to harm Vivian's feelings, but nevertheless, there was something she had to find out.
"Vivian." she said, looking the girl in the eye. "I must be frank about this, what is....the situation between you and Dr. Ludvig?"

Vivian almost spilled her tea when she heard the question. She quickly put the cup down and while doing so hid her eyes from Noelle to prevent her from knowing the shock she had caused. Vivian windered if she could tell her th truth or should she cover th relationship for some time more. Her hands sook a bit when she desperately tried to calm herself down. This would give the secret rigth up.
"I... Care about him deeply." She felt how a faint blush rose to her cheeks. Vivian was overwhelmed by the desire to tell Noelle. The words where at the tip of her tongue. She forced herself to swallow them and said instead: "I think I love him Noelle." She blushed again and lowered her eyes. "I know I shouldn't. But I can't help myself." Her voice was filled with tenderness and strange happiness. Her face was glowing with inner ligth and hse smiled mysteriously as her fingers played with the chain of her necklace.
