He considered her questions with a very careful and considerate pause. Then, slowly, he shifted over to make room for her beside him. "Vith everything ve do in life, there is the risk that ve vill hurt ourselves or someone else. Life, vithout the slightest risk, is a lonely life. There is a chance that by you sleeping vith me, that you might aggitate my vounds. However, the benefit of having you beside me greatly outveighs the risk."
Shifting had brought a bit of the pain in his leg back to his surface thoughts. He winced, but would not let himself be pushed back by this. "It is said that certain comforts are aids to healing. I am not vell versed in the studies. But ve live in a vorld vhere placebos heal. I know that having you vith me vill do far more to help me than it vould hurt me."
"Please, vill you join me tonight?"

"You, sir, have a talent for convincing people." Vivian smiled and pulled herself up cleverly covering any evidence of blushing. "If you allow I will go get some of these raather heavy layers of." She motioned toward her dress, apron and crinoline. "I have recently learned that they are rather uncomfortable to be used as sleep wear." She gave a small, somewhat mischievious smile and walked to the ladies rest room.
She had never paid much attention on the sounds of taking her dress of. This time it felt like the undoiing of the zipper was very loud and the sound of dress softly falling to the floor was like an earthquake. Even her shoes seemed to make unsuaul amount of noice. Vivian murmured something wondering why she was acting so nervous.
After removing alll the unnecessery items of clothing she look at herself in the mirror. A careful examination proofed that she was still decent in her (rather short) bloomers, long lace edged stay up socks and a ruffled lace top which of course tied to her usual choice of colour in clothing. Her hair was neatly braided and pulled back. She gathered her things o be tucked away till moring and stepped out.
She carefully placed her clothes to the cabinet next to the ladies room. Then after some selfgathering she walked back to Ludvigs bed. For a moment she wished to have let her hair open to use them as a hiding place.

He went a thousand shades of bright red. His entire body blushed. As a trained doctor, he didn't even think that was possible. For a moment, it was like he was seeing a completely different woman than before. Was this, the same Vivian he had met, or was this the Vivian, hidden from the world. No, he told himself. This was a different Vivian. This was a special one. This was his Vivian.
He had always seen Vivian as an attractive young woman. This had been a part of that dangerous first temptation so many months before. Yet, for every piece of beauty he had seen in her in those days, she continued to amaze him. She was a desert flower one minute and a midnight bloom the next. But for everything she was, she made his everything. She made his heart sing.
"The bards do love and beauty no justice," he said, caught in the gaze of his Vivian. "For, if the vords they speak are to believed as true, they have never gazed a more magnificent sight as yourself. Just the mere glimpse of you at this moment, has given my heart the strength of another millions beats. I feel my very vounds healing, at the sight of your beauty."
He chuckled lightly, thinking of the cold of the room and watching Vivian standing there. "This room vill not do well for your skin. It is cold, and soon you vill be covered in goosebumps and, perhaps, reveal more than you vish. I recommend you climb in before the cold bests you. Let my body keep you varm this late night."

A moment of instant shyness had kept Vivian petrified infront of Ludvig's bed. She was definetly blushing, she could feel the heat on her cheeks as Ludvig spoke suc lovely words of her. "I feel undeserving of such flattery, Ludvig." Her voice was shaking a bit as she moved towards the bed.
The coldness of theroom seemed to have an effect on her feet. they felt like ice now, after she had removed her shoes. Her skin was also cooling down though to her it seemd like her cheeks were on fire.
It took her only a few seconds to reach the bed but it felt like minutes, so nervous she was. When she reached it (finally in her mind) she sat down and quickly layed herself next to him. It was too dark to see Ludvig's features clearly. "You are warm.."

His heart was pounding as Vivian' approached. Part of him filled with eager anticipation. Part of his mind flared, screaming at him to stop. He wouldn't, couldn't stop this. It was what he knew he needed, not just in mind, but in body and soul.
Ludvig eased as Vivian reached the bed and climbed in with him. He shifted, making a tiny portion of pain fill his leg. The pain quickly subsided as he wrapped his arms around Vivian. He felt filled by her own warmth. Her statement about his warmth made him let out a small chuckle.
"I vas just about to say the same about you."
He relaxed, and every ounce of his body settle onto one fact. This was perfect.
"This vas vhat I needed. I hope you are comfortable."
